Distillation occurs year-round, with the main distilling period between September and December. Depending on demand, Toni distills between 500 and 1,500 liters of schnapps annually.
During this process, 13 varieties are produced: Apple Cuvee, Raspberry, Cherry, Apricot, and Quince are just a few examples of the range. The only ingredients in the schnapps are the fruits themselves. The schnapps contains only what the fruit provides. Occasionally, just a little yeast is added to improve fermentation.
"But fundamentally, we stick to the principle: Good fruit = good fermentation = good schnapps", Toni explains.

A choice of our selection
The "Kapruner Edelbrände" are particularly well-known for the good “Williams” from the Styrian Williams pear and for the aromatic “Vogelbeer” from a Polish field berry. You can also enjoy the varieties “Williams” and “Apfel Cuveé” from the Schnapsbrennerei Unteraigen at our Kaprunerhof.
