Hiking tip from Hotel Kaprunerhof
The region around the Hotel Kaprunerhof opens up a true paradise for hiking enthusiasts. Numerous hiking routes in front of impressive mountain scenery invite you to special tours. A tip is the hike to the Tauernmoossee reservoir at the southern end of the Stubachtal. The starting point of the hiking tour is Enzingerboden, which is about forty minutes by car from the hotel. From there, you have two options to choose from to reach the Tauernmoossee reservoir.

Hiking opportunities to Tauernmoossee
Take the gondola up the mountain
One option is to take the gondola from Enzingerboden to Rudolfshütte/Weißesee. From there, a scenic hiking path leads down to the impressive Tauernmoossee. The duration of the tour is about two and a half hours and is suitable for both leisurely hikers and more athletic hikers.
Direct hiking path to the Tauernmoosspeicher dam
The other option is the direct hiking path from Enzingerboden to the Tauernmoossee dam. You will hike for about three hours past green meadows and fragrant pastures, and may have the luck of spotting some wildlife.
You can also combine both options – which path you choose is entirely up to you. Hiking maps are available at our reception.
