Mountain tour from Maiskogel to the glacier

Because the panorama that awaits you along the way will stay in your memory forever. From the family mountain Maiskogel, the mountain trail leads to the Krefelder Hut. There are enough places to stop for food and drink. This path is especially suitable for experienced hikers and climbers.

Directions
The hike starts at the mountain station of the Maiskogelbahn and initially leads towards the Gasthaus Glocknerblick, which is perfect for a first stop. From there, the path continues southwest over the scenic Drei-Wallner-Höhe to the Schoppachhöhe and then to the Stangerhöhe. Further on, the trail leads through the impressive Grubalmkar to the Krefelder Hütte, where a cozy rest is recommended. After that, you will hike down to the Salzburger Hütte. For a relaxed conclusion, the cable car will take you back down to the valley station of the Gletscherbahn Kitzsteinhorn.
