There are about 40 moderate and 10 difficult mountain biking tours, which start around Kaprun, the lake Zeller and the surrounding villages. - In the footsteps of the champions (moderate): the trail is 8,2 kilometres long and was place of the 2002 Bike World Championship. Those who want to imitate them – but without any competition pressure – can cycle from the Kapruner Baumbar to the peak of the Lechberg, overcoming a difference in altitude of 295 meters.
- Kesselfall (moderate): Starting at the municipal centre of Kaprun you pass by the Hauptschule (school building) and continue into the valley till reaching the restaurant Gasthof Mühle. Take the Nikolaus-Gassner-Straße and then continue on the Kesselfallstraße, at the villa Burg turn right, take the Klammweg and continue uphill. Cross the bridge Belinskybrücke and pass by the lake Klammsee and the restaurant Gasthaus Künstleralm till reaching the hotel Kesselfall. Difference in altitude: 289 metres.
- Maiskogel (difficult): The tour with 11 kilometres starts directly in the village of Kaprun and lead you through the village to the snack bar (Jausenstation) Unteraigen. There you turn right in direction of the snack bar Stangerbauer and the Maiskogelweg and cycle uphill till the hut Willis Maiskogelhütte and then continuing right till the restaurant Gasthaus Glocknerblick. Difference in altitude: 920 metres.
