In the Hotel Kaprunerhof, the safety of our guests and our employees is always of top priority. Our in-house safety plan, including hygiene measures, has been compliant with all (newly) prescribed standards for several years – and has been further optimised since it was initially implemented. The space available within the hotel, the culinary provision, the wellness area: everything is designed to guarantee a safe space in which to relax.
Up-to-date and ever-changing travel warnings are generating uncertainty within the population. It is therefore important to know that a travel warning is not the same as a travel ban.
As a venue, we are officially part of the Federal ministry’s “Sichere Gastfreundschaft “ (Safe Hospitality) WKO initiative and fulfil all of the initiative’s criteria, meaning that you can enjoy your holiday in the Hotel Kaprunerhof as usual. The most important information for your holiday, at a glance:
No restrictions apply for guests travelling from Austria.
Guests from other countries may be subject to certain conditions, which may even vary from one Federal State/region to the next. Because regulations may vary, we request that our guests check the current status in the respective Foreign Office.
Our restaurant staff wear face masks and are encouraged to wash their hands every time they clear a table. Face masks are also mandatory for guests in certain situations. Further rules of conduct are posted in the premises.
There are active hygiene concepts in place in the surrounding ski areas (Kitzsteinhorn, Zell am See, Maiskogel). In addition, we also offer a daily private shuttle from the hotel to the Maiskogel ski lift, where there is also a ski depot.
